20,000 Easy Aeroplan Miles for CIBC Credit Card

WHAT: CIBC has just released a new offer for scoring some easy bonus miles. This card comes with a welcome bonus of 20,000 Aeroplan miles in addition to priority boarding, free check-in bag, and a pass to the Maple Leaf lounge.

KNOW: This is a small business card. I have always applied for small business cards by just using ‘my name inc.” as the business. It has never failed me yet. If you actually have a small business, then just use that if you want.

Transfer Aeroplan Miles for a 25% Reduction in Rate

WHAT: While transferring miles from another person’s Aeroplan account into yours (or vice versa) is normally far to expensive to justify, it could be worth it if you just need a top up to make a upcoming trip happen. Right now, Aeroplan has reduced the rate from 2 cents per point to 1.5 cents per point.

KNOW: If you have a friend or family member who needs a few thousand points to make a trip happen, this may be a good deal for you. For example, transferring 10,000 points would cost you $150 instead of $200. Do the math before doing this.
