WHAT: Normally I wouldn’t recommend this card due to the $120 annual fee. However, If you apply before June 28th, they will waive the $120 fee once (and if) you spend $500 within 3 months. You will also get the 15,000 Aeroplan Miles after your first purchase!

KNOW: The fee will likely show up on your first statement. You will be reimbursed once you reach $500 in spending within 3 months. Great chance to get 15,000 Aeroplan Miles with little effort. Cancel the card later if you don’t need it.

NOTE: Not every deal will work for everyone. If it’s not a match, just delete it and wait for the next. Point accumulation works but it takes some time.

WHAT: Stay between now and August 30, 2013 at select JW Marriott, Autograph collection, Marriott hotels, Renaissance hotels, or Gaylord hotels and get 1000 bonus United Miles.

KNOW: You must be register at the link below and book the rooms by July 15, 2013. You can earn a max of 10,000 points. You must choose United Miles as your preferred option in your Marriott profile.

Expires: July 15, 2013

WHAT: No annual fee. Earn up to 60,000 Best Western points after qualifying for Mastercard. You’ll get 20,000 points after your first purchase, 30,000 if you spend $1000 before July 31st and another 10,000 for spending $1000 before the end of August.

KNOW: If you earn the 60,000 points, it’s enough for about 3 nights in a Best Western Hotel or approx $225 in gift cards. Personally, this is a good deal but not a great deal.

TIP: If you don’t mind applying for many cards and have no problem spending this amount, apply for it. If you rather have just a few credit cards and not spend quite so much, stick with ones that earn travel points. For beginners, the best one is the American Express Personal Gold, which I can send you a link for if you ask.
