American Express Personal Gold + 15,000 Points

WHAT: For those who haven’t seen this deal in the tutorial section yet, it still remains my favorite card for quick points. They waive the first year fee and give you 15,000 points after spending just $500 in 3 months. Plus, you’ll get an extra 5000 point if I refer you. KNOW: This is an easy 15-20,000 points which you can then transfer to Aeroplan, preferably when they have their 30% bonus transfers sometime in the spring.

WHAT: Earn triple Aeroplan points by spending $30+ at Rexall until Feb 21st. Not a huge deal but if you need something at Rexall, now is the time.

KNOW: You always earn 1 Aeroplan point for each dollar spent at Rexall. Now you’ll earn triple.

AMAZING! No Fee and 15,000 Points from CIBC Aeroplan Gold

WHAT: This was a tip from a fellow Free Flyer. If you apply for the Aeroplan Gold Visa CIBC card now and until January 31, they waive the first year’s fee. You get 15,000 bonus Aeroplan points after one purchase. Best time to buy that coffee crisp.

KNOW: If you miss the January 31 cutoff, it’s highly worth calling in. Often times they extend the deal or can still offer it over the phone. This is a great deal to take advantage of! Save $150fee. Only need a household income of $15,000.
